Brittany Matthews gives peek at bridal shower with fellow Chiefs WAGs

Bride-to-be Brittany Matthews was celebrated in style on Saturday.

The future Mrs. Patrick Mahomes enjoyed a “queen of hearts”-themed bridal shower with her nearest and dearest, including fellow Chiefs WAGs Kayla Nicole and Sydni Paige, the girlfriend of tight end Travis Kelce and the fiancée of safety Tyrann Mathieu, respectively.

For her shower, Brittany Matthews was joined by Emma Herrington, who is Patrick Mahomes’ cousin.

“Celebrating you today,” Mahomes’ cousin, Emma Herrington, gushed of Matthews on her Instagram Story.

Those in attendance were treated to a three-course lunch, which included either crab cakes or a Caesar salad as an appetizer, and a main dish selection of miso-glazed salmon or braised short ribs. The meal was capped off with a selection of delicious desserts.

Matthews has been dating the Chiefs quarterback, also 26, since high school. After announcing their engagement in September 2020, the couple later welcomed their first child, daughter Sterling, in February.

Although it remains to be seen where the pair will be tying the knot, Matthews confirmed earlier this year that she and Mahomes will wed in 2022.
