Chiefs' 12 Year Old Fan's Dream Comes True at SBLVII

Gavin, a 12-year-old with a neurological system condition, will have his wish realized by Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas during Super Bowl LVII in Arizona. Make-A-Wish will grant the desires of Gavin and 16 other wish children traveling to Phoenix from 15 other states.

The adventure, in collaboration with the National Football League (NFL) and other business sponsors, begins on Wednesday, Feb. 8, with a welcoming ceremony at which Gavin will meet and get to know the other wish kids and their families.

The next evening, Gavin will walk the red carpet alongside the NFL’s brightest stars at the NFL Honors event. On Friday, he will be given a special behind-the-scenes tour of State Farm Stadium and will have free time to demonstrate his football abilities at the Super Bowl Experience.

The adventure will climax with Gavin entering the stadium on Sunday, Feb. 12 to witness the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles and AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs compete for the prized Vince Lombardi Trophy.

“The Super Bowl is already one of the most anticipated days of the year, but it means even more to our staff, volunteers and supporters who understand the life-changing impact of the wishes being granted at the game,” said Brian Miller, Vice President of Marketing & Communications with Make-A-Wish Missouri & Kansas. “For Gavin we hope that the trip provides him with the strength and inspiration needed to face whatever challenges come his way”.

As Patrick takes center stage on the most watched gaming event for the second time in three years, he can be rest assured he will have one of his most loyal fan rooting for him.
