“Coming Back Stronger”: Novak Djokovic Sets Sight on 2024 Paris Olympics.
World No.1 Novak Djokovic failed to accomplish the Calendar Golden Slam this year. He came to Tokyo to win the Olympic Gold but, unfortunately, returned his home without any medal.
In a recent tweet, Novak Djokovic thanked the organisers of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 for managing the tournament efficiently. He also thanked all his fans and mentioned that he gave his everything in the biggest sporting tournament. Interestingly, he also quoted that it is not the last Olympics for him as he’ll be back with a mission to win the Gold at the Paris Olympics 2024.

“It was a true privilege to represent Serbia at the Olympics. Thank you Tokyo Olympics 2020 and everyone that helped us come together for the magic of sport. I know in my heart I gave it everything to fight for a medal, and I’m looking forward to coming back stronger at the Paris Olympics 2024,” wrote Djokovic in the tweet.
Djokovic is not really happy with his performance at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. He wants to get his hands on the Olympic Gold because that is perhaps the only thing that he hasn’t won in the sport so far.

Nole was not less than a celebrity at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Almost all the athletes of different sports posted selfies with him and he enjoyed his stardom wherever he travelled in Tokyo. Thus, he mentioned that he had an unbelievable experience at the Olympics and also wished all his fellow Serbian athletes the best of luck who are still competing in Tokyo.
“This was an unbelievable experience I will never forget. Good luck to all the Serbian athletes still competing for a medal,” added the 20-time Grand Slam champion.
After having a pretty tight schedule, Novak Djokovic is likely to miss the Rogers Cup 2021. However, fans believe that he’ll compete at the Cincinnati Masters 2021 and deliver some fine performances there. Will he able to win his Calendar Slam by succeeding at the US Open 2021?
