‘The Notorious’ has gotten into squabbles with celebrities outside the MMA world as well. Recently, the Irish fighter got into a back and forth of trash-talk with the two-time world heavyweight champion boxer, Tyson Fury. As Fury and McGregor had a back and forth on social media, it is pretty clear to the fans that they are not fond of each other.

According to a report from Mirror, Fury admitted that his recent Twitter quarrel with McGregor was a ‘publicity stunt.’.He said in a press conference for his fight with Dillian Whyte, “Bit of a publicity stunt. Super Bowl weekend, all eyes on us.” Fury added, “Beef? Man’s 10 stone [I’m] 20 stone behave yourselves, only beef we would have is me eating him in a beef sandwich.”

The fighter is now back in the gym and is training to make a return to the UFC octagon this year. McGregor will most likely take on his former opponent, Nate Diaz, on his return.
