Damar Hamlin Shares First Photo From Hospital Bed

The 24-year-old Bills player collapsed after making a tackle in the first quarter against the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night. On the pitch, he had to be resuscitated. Just days after his startling on-field cardiac arrest, Buffalo Bills defender Damar Hamlin expressed gratitude on Instagram, asking for continuous prayers for a “tough road” ahead.

His post came after his team provided yet another positive update on his condition. They reported he was making progress but remained in critical care, noting that he was breathing on his own and had outstanding brain function.

“Putting love into the world comes back 3xs as much… thankful for everyone who has reached out and prayed. This will make me stronger on the road to recovery, keep praying for me! 🫶🏾3️⃣”, Damar Hamlin shared on Twitter.

Damar also shared a screenshot he took during a facetime on his Instagram stories. Hamil is at the bottom right of the photo smiling, obviously backing up the positive updates from family, friends and the hospital doctors.
