Eagles Conclude On Jalen Carter NFL Draft
Jalen Carter, a top prospect with behavioral baggage and what one scout describes as a “maturity problem,” expects the Eagles to select him. Jalen Carter’s potential as a defensive lineman for Georgia is obvious.
Is there any truth behind the claimed “promise” made to the athlete by the Philadelphia Eagles as they prepare to utilize the 10th overall choice in the NFL Draft on Thursday night?
Verrrrrrrry interesting insight on the possibility of Georgia DL Jalen Carter to the Eagles… from Carter himself 🤔

“Yes sir,” Carter insists… and now we have to figure out what the difference is between “promises,” “maybes,” and “smokescreens.”
The defending NFC champions have done an excellent job, overseen by general manager Howie Roseman, of concealing their intentions at No. 10. But Carter, a top prospect with behavioral baggage and what one scout describes as “a problem with maturity,” believes the Eagles will choose him if he is still available when the Philly turn comes around.
“I believe so, it might have been something like that,” Carter responded when asked if the Eagles will choose him by NBC Sports Philadelphia’s John Clark… with Clark gently pushing the matter again. “So, if you’re there at 10, the Eagles are taking you?” Clark stated. “Yes, sir,” Carter said.
Without the baggage, some analysts believe Carter is the most gifted prospect in this class, right up there with Texas running back Bijan Robinson. And, after losing Javon Hargrave to the San Francisco 49ers in free agency, the Eagles could surely use some assistance upffront.
Our best assumption is that Carter is misinterpreting the Eagles’ “promise”… but that there is likely a true link there, as there may be between Carter and the Seattle Seahawks at No. 5, which would negate Philly’s interest in the player. In any case, the drama – and the “promises” – are about to begin.
