Gisele Bündchen opens up about her relationship with Tom Brady

The model talked about how she and the QB balance their marriage. The couple formed by NFL legend Tom Brady and top model Gisele Bündchen might seem perfect, a relationship formed by two of the most famous personalities of the last decades, but they also go through problems like any other marriage.

Together since 2006, Brady and Bündchen got married in 2009 and have since established themselves as one of the hottest couples due to the success of both in their respective careers, but Gisele has decided to share a little about what it’s like to share her life next to the seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Gisele on her marriage: It’s never a fairy tale

The model and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback have two children, plus a son The GOAT had in his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan, and balancing family life with their demanding careers hasn’t been easy, which has caused some problems in their relationship.

“I don’t think relationships just happen; it’s never the fairy tale people want to believe it is. It takes work to be really in sync with someone, especially after you have kids,” Bündchen told Vogue UK. The top model even spoke openly about the priority in Brady’s life being his NFL career, which oddly enough doesn’t seem to be as bad as it might seem.

“His focus is on his career, mine is mostly on the kids. And I’m very grateful that he lets me take the reins when it comes to our family. He trusts my decisions,” Bündchen said.

Differences of opinion between Brady and Bündchen

In addition, Gisele talked about some points of view in which she has not agreed with her husband, such as home birth, but she managed to convince him, watching videos about it, that it was an experience that she should live with her children.

“I remember, in the beginning, he wasn’t into the idea of home birth. He was like, ‘You’re not going to do that, because you’re going to die….. I made it clear that this is my body and I’m going to decide how I give birth.” She describes the 18 hours of labor with Benjamin Rein as “the most beautiful experience of my life,” Gisel said.

Gisel even revealed that Brady is a person who didn’t like to venture out to try new foods when they first started dating, something that has changed a bit due to the Brazilian’s influence. “Tom only ate nuts and grapes when I met him. It was crazy. He’s not a person who dives deep, who researches. I’m very much like that,” she said.
