Odell Beckham Hints at Joining Chiefs in March

Odell Beckham Jr., a free agent wide receiver, drew the attention of Chiefs Fans during Super Bowl LVII when he tweeted about Kadarius Toney. Yet, he had another tweet during the Super Bowl that is making the rounds around Chiefs Country.

Since November, the Chiefs have been connected to Odell Beckham Jr., mostly owing to NFL analysts mentioning them as an attractive landing location for OBJ. But, the former All-Pro receiver has now publicly hinted that he might be interested in playing for the Chiefs.

Odell, who tore his ACL as a member of the Los Angeles Rams in the 2022 Super Bowl, hadn’t fully healed yet for the 2022 season, which is why he remained a free agent for the whole season. Beckham has now provided further information about his likely destination for next season.

As one Twitter user captioned a photo of Odell in a Chiefs uniform, “Come on @obj… “You know what to do.” Odell replied to the tweet with, “See u in march……”

Odell is a free agent and may sign with any club prior to the start of free agency. Nevertheless, he must first demonstrate that he has fully recovered from his ruptured ACL before making a return to the NFL.

Kansas City currently has receivers Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney, and Skyy Moore under contract until 2023. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Justin Watson are scheduled to become free agents, although JuJu is expected to re-sign with the Chiefs.

According to Pro Football Reference, Odell has 513 catches on 880 targets for 7,367 yards and 56 receiving touchdowns in his career. During his final complete season in the NFL, he caught 44 passes for 537 yards and five touchdowns in six regular-season games with the Cleveland Browns and eight with the Los Angeles Rams.
