Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, has said that Jurgen Klopp signing a new long-term deal at Liverpool is “good news” for the Premier League.
Klopp has put pen to paper on a contract extension, keeping him at Anfield until 2024.
The German’s original deal was set to 2022, but he has decided to pledge his future to the Anfield club.
“We want the best players, coaches and he’s one of the best.
“It’s good news for the Premier League.”
“Great news for Liverpool fans, for the players because it looks clear that they like each other and their relationship is very good,” Mourinho said in a news conference on Friday.
