It’s good to be Aaron Rodgers. “Can’t even imagine waking up on a Monday and seeing 20mill in my account,” one fan joked. “Imagine just waking up and making 20 mil,” another fan added.
Aaron Rodgers will earn $42.0M cash in 2022, yet only $9.36 million counts on the 2022 cap
2023: $59.5M cash, $15.74M on cap
2024: $49.3M cash, $17.97M on capHuge built-in cap proration here!
If he plays 3 years & retires the Packers end up with $76.8M dead cap over 2025-2026 https://t.co/56EqlZPnbX

Payment terms on contract done in March that is one-year, $42 million and then “we’ll see” (from both sides). https://t.co/VKhJO37Kmw

So that’s $40.8 million by Week 4 instead of at the end of the year.
Doesn’t change anything with Rodgers’ 2022 cap number, which is $28,533,568. https://t.co/ZkWdZAynq0

Rodgers and the Packers are coming off a disappointing playoff loss to the 49ers. Green Bay will look to go deeper in 2022 with so much invested in overhauling the club, from the coaching staff to the offensive line.
