Andy Murray Reveals if His Kids Are Aware of What He Is Doing And His Comeback On Tour
Recently, 3-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray and his wife Kim Sears welcomed the birth of their fourth child.
As a result, Murray had withdrawn from the Dubai Open last week to be there with his family.
The couple has kept the sex of the newborn undisclosed. Having been married for six years now, the couple is also parents to two daughters Sophia, 5, and Edie, 3, and a 1-year-old son, Teddy.
Andy Murray opens up about his kids
In an interview with Prime Video, the host Catherine Whitaker asked Murray about what do his older kids make of what he is doing and his comeback on the tour.
The former World No.1 revealed his kids are least bothered by his professional tennis career. But the Brit mentioned his daughter Edie gets upset whenever he leaves home to compete at a tournament and ignores him on Facetime.
“I don’t think they’re particularly bothered about it, to be honest. My middle daughter yeah, she’s sort of when I tell her that I’m going away she now gets upset and doesn’t like that I’m going away and kind of ignores me on FaceTime,” said Murray
However, the 33-year-old hoped one day his kids would accompany him to different tournaments and watch him compete. His arch-rival Roger Federer also has four kids and are sometimes seen cheering for their father, particularly at Wimbledon.
