NO SENSE UFC star Israel Adesanya says Logan Paul chasing Floyd Mayweather for money is ‘weird to me’ and he thought the YouTuber was trolling

Israel Adesanya says he was a little confused with Logan Paul’s comments regarding his pay for his exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather last summer. In an ongoing saga, Paul has claimed the boxing legend is withholding pay-per-view money from him for their bout that was said to have recorded more than one million buys.

It has been reported that Mayweather earned $65 million for the fight and Paul would have made a paltry-by-comparison $14m. Speaking to Brilliant Idiots, Adesanya said he found Paul’s comments weird.“[Pay-per-view payoffs] don’t take that long. So, I don’t know why. When I heard that I was like, ‘Is [Paul] trolling [Mayweather]?’”

Mayweather has since explained why Paul’s bank balance isn’t as healthy as it should be. “This comes with the territory,” he said when asked. “To them, that’s real money, and I like the YouTubers. The money on the back end though, from pay-per-view, that takes a while.

“Nothing comes right away. I’m still collecting checks from fights seven or eight years ago. “They just hate when the table is turned. Be happy with the biggest payday you ever got in your life.” Paul went the distance with the 50-0 great but he says it was a mistake dealing with Mayweather.

“It’s honestly bull****, [Having] people who aren’t a professional promotional company controlling where the money goes… we made that mistake,” he blasted. “But it’s Floyd Mayweather, so before we fought him we were kind of willing to do whatever [and] after the fact we’re shooting ourselves in the foot because he’s a f***ing s***bag.”

Adesanya has no such problems when it comes to cash after signing ‘one of the most lucrative deals’ in UFC history before he successfully defended his UFC middleweight title against Robert Whittaker.
