Packers Defender Says Jordan Love Was Unbothered By Trash Talk

Being able to shut down all the outside noise is an invaluable trait for any NFL player, and that becomes especially true if you’re a quarterback.

Add in the fact that you’ve been doubted since you entered the league, and that you’re going to sub in for a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and it becomes even more relevant.

That’s why Green Bay Packers defenders Jaire Alexander and Rasul Douglas have been so impressed with Jordan Love, as he seemed completely unbothered by their trash-talking throughout training camp.

Alexander and Douglas told Rob Demovsky that they’ve been going at him since the beginning of training camp, yet the former first-round pick has remained completely unfazed.

Multiple players and members of the front office have raved about Love’s professionalism and work ethic since he entered he league, and they’ve been in awe of how ready he’s been to embrace a new leadership role.

The Packers were more than comfortable letting Aaron Rodgers go to the New York Jets because they had full confidence in Love being ready to take the next step in his career.

He’s going to face plenty of trash-talking and play in some very hostile environments now that everybody’s going to give the Packers a run for their money.

It takes a lot of personality to thrive as a quarterback in this league, and while it’ll all come down to his performances on the field, it seems like he’s got that covered already.
