Chiefs’ Frank Clark Shares Emotional Comeback Story

Chiefs’ Frank Dominick Clark is having probably the best season of his career so far. Clark helped secure another AFC Championship, after defeating Bengals and is now preparing to battle the Philadelphia Eagles at super bowl LVII.

Clark will have his hands full in the Super Bowl with Johnson and Mailata, who have combined to allow just three pressures on 106 pass blocking snaps this playoffs. Johnson is playing with a torn abductor in his groin, yet he is still doing well despite the agony.

Clark is not bothered about playing the ‘best O-Line’ in the league as he believes in his teammates. Clark said “They all counted me out but my dogs. The respect and love from your teammates outweighs all the hate you get from the opposition. I hit rock bottom and climbed back up to the top in a 2 year span. Never say never, just do that shit!”.

Mahomes mum, Randi reacted to the post as she showed her support to Clark and the Chiefs team. Frank Clark had more sacks in 16 postseason games than in any of his eight regular-season outings.

Clark, 29, only has two double-digit sack seasons (13 in 2018 and 10 in 2016), both before he was traded from the Seahawks to the Chiefs, where he has become a three-time Pro Bowler. But he has 13.5 in the postseason — behind only Willie McGinest (16) and Bruce Smith (14.5) — when he says “the game is slower.”

“If you can’t give your all for those last three or four games when it’s win-or-go-home, if you can’t put it all on the line no matter if you are hurting or not or what you are going through, then it’s not there,” Clark said. “You can’t just wake up on Sunday morning in the playoffs and find it. That’s just something that’s been there my whole career.”
