Chiefs George Karlaftis Wins First Award of 2023

Kansas City Chiefs’ DE, George Karlaftis aka ‘the Greek Freak’ has claimed his first award of the year. George’s efforts and dedications has been rewarded after being named to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie team.

The Chiefs also used the opportunity to celebrate Kadarius Toney a happy birthday as he turns 24. kadarius Toney has so far rewarded the Chiefs after they agreed to a trade for the wide receiver shortly before the NFL’s trade deadline earlier this season.

In an unexpected turn of events, Patrick Mahomes’ top target is uncertain for Sunday’s rematch of the AFC Championship Game between the Bengals and the Chiefs. Travis Kelce, who did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, is classified as doubtful on the Chiefs’ latest injury report due to a back problem.

In Kansas City’s divisional game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Kelce had 14 catches for 98 yards and two touchdowns. Mahomes, on the other hand, has been present at every practice this week. Mecole Hardman and Justin Watson, both wide receivers, are also classified as doubtful.
