Packers Announce Four Injury Blows Against Bengals
The Green Bay Packers suffered a few injuries in their first preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Friday night. Injuries forced the absence of nine players, including cornerback Jaire Alexander. During the Green Bay Packers’ first preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, four offensive players were injured.
In the second half, a tight end was forced to leave the game. The Packers said in a statement that offensive lineman Caleb Jones (ankle) and running back Tyler Goodson (shoulder) were injured. Early in the third quarter, offensive tackle Luke Tenuta suffered an ankle injury.
Tight end Tyler Davis was injured against the Bengals, according to a Packers statement.

Davis seemed to be in discomfort as he exited the field. Davis is the Packers’ second-string tight end, so a significant injury may be worrisome. With rookie tight ends Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave projected to get significant playing time this season, he’ll be an experienced pass catcher.
