Patrick Mahomes Promises More Flair After Snow-Globe Hurdle

Under head coach Andy Reid, the Kansas City Chiefs have become one of the most inventive teams in the NFL. And they proved it with a’snow globe’ play in their last regular-season game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Patrick Mahomes defended the unorthodox huddle against the Raiders in the waning stages of the second quarter. The Chiefs received a lot of criticism for the move, with many people considering it disrespectful to their opponents.

Regardless, club quarterback Patrick Mahomes has pledged to inject extra flair to their game with his statement regarding the huddle.
“We’ll have to come up with another one for the playoffs,” Mahomes said after the game.

Mahomes completed a nine-yard touchdown throw to wide receiver Kadarius Toney on the play. However, it was called back due to a holding penalty on the Chiefs offense. The squad went again, and Toney ultimately scored, putting the Chiefs up 21-3 at halftime.

Coach Reid is well-known around the NFL for his inventiveness. During his ten years in Kansas City, he has built a monster of a squad. Nobody should be surprised if the Chiefs devise another unusual play to take their playoff opponent off guard.
