Aaron Rodgers Brutally Roasts Packers’ OT

Aaron Rodgers and former Green Bay Packers colleague David Bakhtiari engaged in a playful back-and-forth on social media, culminating in a jab at the offensive lineman’s weight. Rodgers and Bakhtiari are pals who frequently exchange public messages on social media.

Despite the fact that Rodgers is now with the New York Jets and Bakhtiari is still with the Packers, their relationship looks to have endured. Rodgers shared a photo of himself and a group of people visiting a Proactive Sports Performance gym on Thursday.

(This is the same gym where he was seen with Kevin Durant a few weeks ago.) Rodgers asked Bakhtiari where he was on Instagram. Bakhtiari responded on Instagram, saying he was “too busy training and not posing for a photo.” via his Instagram account.

Rodgers then swung the hammer. “Probably laying around getting fat,” Rodgers wrote.

Rodgers was obviously joking, but we’ll see if six-foot-four, 310-pound Bakhtiari responds. Some lineman get offended when their weight is disparaged. And Rodgers is unlikely to want to play behind a shaky offensive line.

Through another trade with the Packers, Rodgers could employ Bakhtiari’s bulk on the Jets’ offensive line this season. The Jets’ thin offensive line is regarded as a liability that might stymie the offense this season.
