Zac Taylor Sends Message To Fans Ahead Of Big Game Against Ravens

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is ready to turn the page from his team’s ugly 24-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns in the season-opener.

Taylor know that Cincinnati’s performance on Sunday isn’t who the Bengals are and it’s not who they’ll be this season. Cincy’s players believe the same.

But for everyone else to believe it, the Bengals will have to show up in a big way on Sunday in front of their home crowd in a pivotal AFC North matchup against the Baltimore Ravens.

On Monday, Taylor reminded Cincinnati fans of the huge home field advantage they create for the Bengals. And Taylor wants to make sure that’s once again the case on Sunday afternoon when Cincinnati hosts Baltimore.

“One thing I will say that I’ll continue to echo this week is our home field is such an advantage,” said Taylor while closing his press conference on Monday.

“Especially early in the season with new players on a team and new communication. That’s what we’re looking forward to is playing in front of our home crowd and getting those advantages with the noise. The way that our fans always turn up and support us, that’s going to be a great advantage that we can have this Sunday at 1 (PM ET).”

The Bengals haven’t lost to the Ravens in Cincinnati since the final game of the 2020 season (Joe Burrow was out with the torn ACL he suffered earlier in his rookie season). If they can keep that streak going on Sunday with a big win, it will quickly erase the bad taste from the 21 point loss to the Browns.
