Bengals Backup QB Problem Has Fans Dreaming Of Former QB

The Cincinnati Bengals have a budding problem at backup quarterback behind Joe Burrow.

Trevor Siemian, signed this offseason to replace Brandon Allen, hasn’t provided the seamless transition expected. Jake Browning hasn’t developed the point of being a lock, either.

During the preseason Week 2 tie against the Falcons, both quarterbacks combined for a 23-of-36 line for 197 yards and an interception (5.6 average).

The situation is so rough-looking that fans expect the team to look for outside help before the season, with some even bringing up the name Andy Dalton (currently rostered by the Panthers).
