Venus Williams Reveals What It’s Like Playing With Serena Williams Ahead of Australian Open 2021

The Williams sisters hold a very high post in the list of the all-time greatest tennis players.

Being doubles partners, Venus and Serena Williams have won 22 titles, including 14 Grand Slams and 3 Olympic Gold medals. But what is it like to play together? The big sister explains.

Both the sisters have different personalities; however, their passion for tennis is the same. From their first face-off in 1998 to 2020, they have played 31 times, where Serena leads 19-12.

According to the 7-time Grand Slam champion, Venus Williams, the feeling of playing with her sister is above all. She also revealed that they have been playing doubles together since they were 8 years old.

Presently, the former World No. 1’s are in quarantine in Adelaide and are training together for the Australian Open 2021. From there, Venus recently made an appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show.

And behind all their titles and rankings, playing together has made a distinction for them. So when she was asked what it’s like playing with the 23-time Grand Slam champion, Venus happily responded.

She said, “It’s the best feeling.” And while one cannot easily sum up two decades of history, Venus answered it pretty well. “I am still the big sister, and a lot of people ask me,

‘What are your favorite moments on the court,’ and I’m always like, oh my gosh, when I play with my sister,” she concluded.

Considering that the two great players are training together again, the results might show up in their favor. However, we will have to wait and see what the new season has in stock for the Williams sisters.
