Orlando Brown Addresses Advice From Bengals Legend

Orlando Brown Jr., the Cincinnati Bengals’ biggest offseason addition, has settled in nicely and has been able to learn from one of the finest Bengals lineman in history. According to Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com, Brown had the opportunity to speak with Pro Football Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz.

Munoz informed Brown that consistency is one of the most crucial factors in being successful as an offensive lineman in Cincinnati. “I’m looking for his mindset and approach and he said he went into every training camp like he had to make the team,” Brown said.

“He’s the best to ever do it and he went into it like that. It makes you think. And I had a lot more questions I didn’t get to.” Brown said he loved talking to someone who played the same position as him and expects to have lunch with Munoz in the coming weeks.

After 13 successful years with the Cincinnati Bengals, retired left tackle Anthony Munoz was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame 25 years ago. According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Munoz will be recognized again in August in Canton, Ohio, to commemorate the occasion.

Munoz was a Bengals Pro Bowler 11 times in a row from 1980 to 1992, and he was named to the All-Pro first team nine times. Munoz is a Bengals fan favorite since he was the first Bengal to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was elected in his first year of eligibility, 1998.

Quite simply, @AnthonyMunozHOF was one of the fiercest offensive linemen of all-time, as well as the first member of @Bengals to enter the Hall of Fame.
