Tee Higgins Downplays Extension Fears in Recent Interview

In Bengals news, supporters are still waiting for Tee Higgins’ contract extension. Also, if the Cincinnati Bengals do not win the Super Bowl this season, the Stripes will have a sad season.

While Joe Burrow is likely to be the first Bengals player to be extended, it wouldn’t be surprising if Higgins received an extension soon after. The former second-round selection has over 900 receiving yards in each of his three seasons and is effectively a WR1 for them rather than a WR2.

Higgins would have been the Bengals’ Super Bowl MVP if the club had defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LVI. In a recent interview, the Bengals WR was asked about his offseason, his reply shows how relaxed and undisturbed Higgins is about his contract extension with the Bengals.

Instead of talking about his contract extension, Higgins decided to share some update on his Jellyfish Problem. Tee Higgins took to Twitter a few months ago to hint he was having a bit of a problem with…jellyfish.

To summarize, Higgins asked everyone who would listen how to put up a jellyfish aquarium and offered few updates on the bleak-sounding scenario. More recently, Higgins provided an update, he said “I’m going to have some professionals come set up my tank this time,” Higgins said. “I ain’t doing that myself. I’ve got to call the big dogs in…I feel like jellyfish is a nice home decor.”

While Bengals supporters wait to see if Higgins and the team reach an agreement on an extension this summer, they should also keep a watch out for photographs of the fully-installed jellyfish aquariums on social media.
