EMOTIONAL Naomi Osaka reacts to Usain Bolt’s congratulations for her Laureus Award

Naomi Osaka is leaving at the dream. The Japanese sensation is getting more and more recognition especially after winning the last two slams: (the US Open and the Australian Open).

Off the court, Naomi also has attracted attention for being extremely vocal in defending the community of colors after the infamous killing of George Floyd.

The world number 2 was named Laureus Sportswoman of the Year for 2021. Naomi Osaka has recently admitted that eight-time Olympic Gold medalist Usain Bolt is her favorite athlete. The Jamaican didn’t miss the chance to congratulate Naomi for her award to say:

Naomi reacted in her own (emotional) way, replying with a “thank you” and the emojis showing her emotions and appreciation to Usain Bolt.

Naomi Osaka has recently ended her campaign at the Madrid Open where she lost as early as in the second round. The Japanese sensation will play her next match in Rome before trying to win her third consecutive Slam at the French Open.
